Ayushman brings a strong technical background and industry experience in chemical engineering to the firm. In his 15 years as a life sciences strategy consultant, he has driven asset and portfolio strategy across all major therapeutic areas, and driven major client milestones including product launch, IPOs, acquisitions, and licensing. Prior to joining the Blue Matter team in 2026, he served in a range of consulting and leadership roles at Charles River Associates, SSI Strategy, Acquis Consulting Group, and Syneos Health Consulting. He began his pharmaceutical career as an engineer at Merck in biologics manufacturing and commercialization. Ayushman earned an M.S. in chemical engineering at Columbia University and a B.S. in chemical biological engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
